About our Counsellor

Linsey Revell,

I am a qualified Person-Centered Counsellor and Systemic Practitioner (Family Counsellor) offering Person-Centered, Systemic and Solution Focussed counselling to adults, young people (aged 12+) and families.

As a Systemic Practitioner I can provide family counselling to any variety of family grouping including relationship difficulties between adult family members, for example siblings.

As well as my private practice I teach Counselling Skills at Edinburgh College.

Prior to moving to Edinburgh 5 years ago, from Aberdeen, where I lived for 25 years, I worked as a School Counsellor and counselled  families and individuals at Avenue Counselling Agency.

I have a degree in Psychology which I integrate into my work and have additional training in the following areas:

  • Play Therapy

  • Attachment Theory

  • Resilience Building

  • Solution-Focussed Therapy

  • Grief therapy

People come to counselling for a variety of reasons and my 17+ years of counselling experience and training enables me to offer you effective and individualised counselling within a safe, supportive and confidential environment. I will listen to your concerns and work with you to develop a counselling support plan to meet your unique needs.
